Who we are

This website is a concept demonstration for the Postojna Cave Park. In a live deployment the data controller would be the cave operator (registered office: Jamska cesta 30, 6230 Postojna, Slovenia). The contact details below are placeholders pending the operator's confirmation.

What we collect

• Booking data — name, email, visit date, number of guests and chosen experience, used to process your reservation.
• Newsletter — your email address, if you choose to subscribe.
• Technical & usage data — IP address, device and browser type, and — only with your consent — anonymous analytics about how the site is used.
• Preferences — your language choice and cookie consent, stored locally in your browser.

Why we use it (legal bases — GDPR Art. 6)

• Performance of a contract — to handle the bookings you request.
• Consent — for the newsletter and non-essential (analytics) cookies; you may withdraw it at any time.
• Legitimate interest — to keep the site secure and functioning.

Retention

Booking records are kept only as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal (e.g. tax) obligations; newsletter data until you unsubscribe; analytics for a limited period in aggregate form.

Sharing

We never sell personal data. It may be shared only with processors acting on our behalf (e.g. a payment provider or analytics tool) under a data-processing agreement, and with authorities where legally required.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing or withdraw consent (Arts. 15–22). You may also lodge a complaint with the Slovenian Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec, ip-rs.si).

What cookies are

Cookies and similar local-storage technologies are small pieces of data stored by your browser so the site can remember your actions and preferences.

Categories we use

• Strictly necessary — required for the site to work and cannot be switched off. Includes your language choice (pjLang) and your cookie-consent record (pjConsent).
• Analytics (optional) — set only with your consent, to measure traffic and improve the experience. Disabled until you choose “Accept all”.
• Preferences (optional) — remember interface choices for a smoother visit.

Managing your choice

You can change or withdraw consent at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser. Choosing “Essential only” keeps non-necessary cookies switched off.

This site is a design concept. The experiences, availability and prices shown are illustrative and do not constitute a binding offer. Real tickets must be purchased through the official operator; the booking flow here does not process payments or create a real reservation.

The site design, layout, text and original graphics are protected by copyright. Brand names and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

Liability

The site is provided “as is”, without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of this demonstration site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Slovenia; disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Slovenia.
